Room details
The “GIN-GETSU” is one of two concept rooms being newly offered in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the opening of our hotel. It was designed in collaboration with Kira Karacho, which, carrying on the tradition of its founding company that was established in Kyoto in 1624, is the only “karakami” (
decorative paper) manufacturer and retailer in Japan that boasts a history going on almost 400 years.
The color scheme of this room is silver and blue, and the floor is covered in a blue-tone carpet with the distinctive “connected-square” pattern known as “kakutsunagi”. Luxuriate in the world of Kira Karacho in an ambiance where subtle nuances diffuse and reflect the silver brilliance throughout, the “kakutsunagi” pattern is employed in details from the furniture all the way down to some of the amenities, and the room is also adorned with art made from karakami.
